WHO--The Frugal Catholic wants to buy 300 cows from Catholic Relief Services at $300 a cow. She has already purchased four, leaving only two hundred ninety-six left to buy before she is no more on this earth. Thus, she has around twenty years to accomplish this task.
WHAT--By selling her $5 homemade, hand-knitted, all-cotton dishcloth, which Martha has been making now for over twenty years, she has purchased many chickens, sheep, and goats, and a few years ago, she decided she wanted cows and bought four cows from CRS over the past few years. Those four were distributed to farmers most in need.
WHEN--TFC knits mainly in the car when traveling and at night while viewing TV. She only knows how to knit one thing really well.
WHERE--She sells the product of her hands (Proverbs 31) to anyone who wants these long-lasting, ecological cotton dishcloths. No more paper towels are needed!
WHY--Milk does a body good, and all children should have access to milk and milk products. Thus, the purchase of cows.
HOW-- Use The Frugal Catholic email martha@thefrugalcatholic.com and let me know what colors you would like and how many. We take Venmo or checks. Include a good email address, phone number, and physical home address where the dishcloths must go. If you live near Littleton, Colorado, our dishcloths are carried at Giggle Blossom Boutique right in downtown Littleton.
Blessings,
Martha
